Our story
Scranton English was founded with a question that anyone who has taught long enough learns to ask: why are we pushing every child through the same path, when no two children arrive with the same starting point?
Most academies answer that question with logistics — fixed class sizes, fixed schedules, fixed material. Scranton was built to answer it with care. Every student here is met where they actually are, not where the schedule says they should be.
We are a certified MegaStudy MBest center (MBest SE Deokeun Hangang), combining the resources of one of Korea's most trusted education brands with the personalized attention of a boutique academy. The result is a place that feels small but reaches wide.
What we believe
We believe English fluency is built — not memorized. A child who recognizes letters but doesn't yet trust their own voice needs different support than a child reading chapter books. Both deserve the same level of attention; they don't need the same lesson.
We believe grammar is for reading and writing, not for tests. So we teach it that way — connected to passages, used in original sentences, applied in real expression.
